Welcome to Cristo Rey Charleston High School
Thank you for your interest in Cristo Rey Charleston High School, a Catholic, college preparatory school and Corporate Work Study Program that provides an affordable education for students of limited means from all faiths and backgrounds. Our rigorous academic program, coupled with service initiatives, and extracurricular activities, provides students with a solid foundation for success in high school, college and beyond.
Cristo Rey Charleston will open its doors to the Founding Freshman Class in August of 2027. We will be accepting applications beginning August 15, 2026. We will be the 42nd school in a network of schools across the country with a proven model of success.
Through our innovative Corporate Work Study Program, students gain valuable, real-world professional experience while helping to off-set the cost of their education.

Early Application Deadline
We will be accepting applications for incoming freshman beginning on August 15, 2026 for the 2027-2028 school year. The early application deadline is December 15, 2026. We encourage you to turn in your application even sooner! For those applications received after December 15, 2026, we will process and evaluate them on a rolling basis once we have completed processing those received on or before the early application deadline.
